Enrolling patients in manufacturer-sponsored Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) seems easy enough. Pull together the medical records, patient financial data, patient and physician signatures, fill out an application, and Voila!, you're done.
If only...Some applications won't require more work but lots of others will; follow up because they got lost or misplaced (yes, it happens), denial appeals and documenting hardship when necessary, tracking shipments to ensure receipt, etc. etc.
Administering a patient assistance initiative that optimizes recoveries can be quite challenging and often demands several dedicated full time employees.
We are constantly updating our processes with the almost daily changes due in manufacturer protocols, product launches and terminations, insurance coverage changes, and FDA guidelines to optimize product recoveries.
Every institution is different. We believe a custom approach creates the optimal system, whether annual audit and program review, staff training in our Proven Solutions techniques, or a partially or completely outsourced solution.
We achieve results for clients because we focus on solving specific problems.
